Tavern Bar
Going down one level, this fascinating bar features the oldest pillars in the premises - made from Kilkenny Marble and dating back to 1324. The Tavern Bar is divided into three areas, each with its own special atmosphere.The most popular is an area close to The Kilkenny Marble Pillar and, with a little notice, we can arrange Irish Coffee –making demonstrations for groups as well as ‘Pull Your Own Pint’ tables which are located in the Top Bar.
The Tavern Bar was once the cellar and kitchen of the house.
